Connect to Your Purpose — Workshop for Creatives
What does it mean to live a “creative life”?
Do you have a hard time explaining why you make art?
Why do you spend your time in the studio?
By digging into what it means to be creative and by exploring your innate strengths, you will gain a better understanding of who you are, and who you are not. This will give you clarity and understanding around your purpose. Let’s take a deep dive into why you make what you make.
During this workshop you will work on identifying your ‘WHY’ (we all have one), gaining a fresh perspective, new insights and a deeper, more meaningful sense of yourself. By identifying your purpose you will create a guide allowing you to navigate, understand and help make decisions both in every-day challenges and around new opportunities.
Participants will need:
a journal
8-10 sticky notes or small pieces of scrap paper
pen/pencil and a marker
open mind ready to dig deep and be honest with themselves
Rachel Hicks is a designer, consultant and facilitator who spends her days supporting, inspiring and working with others to achieve their goals and to find their ‘WHY’ using creative solutions and thoughtfully driven design.
